Certifications
The notion of quality within the world of translation has seen a certain amount of change over the past few years and while translation is “not an exact science” it is nevertheless important to put in place systems and rules to guarantee our clients the level of quality that they are quite entitled to expect from us. These systems must also correspond to universally recognised standards.
At Telelingua, the implementation of quality management systems has also undergone significant development over the past ten years:
Telelingua Quality and Procedures Manual
In 2000, we decided to document all of our procedures and identify all of the steps involved in managing a translation project for which ‘quality control’ was necessary. The first document of this type was set up in 2000, and we have continued to update it ever since.
SAP Certification
In the years that followed, some of our clients wanted to audit us in order to certify that we were capable of supplying services in accordance with their standards. This was the case most notably with SAP, the global leader in enterprise management software (ERP). Telelingua France and subsequently Telelingua International gained certification as approved suppliers for SAP AG.
ISO 9001:2008
In 2009, Telelingua International obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification.
