In January, we received notification of our ISO 9001:2008 certification. Our continuous attention to quality, our disciplined approach to project management and our ongoing optimisation of our processes have now been recognised by this international label. However, this is simply the start! More than ever, we are focusing on continuously improving our services.

BECI event: business experience in China

Once again this year, we were pleased to make a donation to Médecins sans Frontières [Doctors without Borders] by sending our electronic greetings cards. We have used the savings made in comparison with the cost of printing and sending traditional cards to provide financial support for their work since 2008.

Telelingua will be in Copenhagen for the United Nations Conference on Climate Change. We have always paid particularly close attention to the environmental impact of our business activities, both within the internal organisation of the company and in the way we carry out our services. Many organisations and manufacturing companies for which we work are directly or indirectly affected by the environmental problem, another reason for sharing our experience on the spot. 4T-Telelingua buys the goodwill of Paris translation agency ELITA
Paris-based 4T SAS, a fully-owned subsidiary of the Telelingua group, purchased the goodwill of the translation agency ELITA SA, also based in Paris, on 16 July 2009. This move has strengthened 4T’s position as one of the leading players in the translation and interpretation market in France while making the technical and linguistic know-how of the Telelingua group accessible to all ELITA clients.

Telelingua International participates in the linguistic validation of the Eurogene project: “The first Pan-European Learning Service in the Field of Genetics”.
 
Eurogene is a European project whose goal is to establish a European reference portal for Human Genetics providing a more efficient means of development of higher quality multimedia didactic material through guided editing and “assembly” of educational packages and the sharing of different types of “learning objects” in different languages.
